What a weekend.
My gosh, what…a…..weekend.
Parenting, it's a hero's journey! Not only that, but so is keeping everything else afloat in one's family.
Sometimes, you know, it's tough being the strongest person around and wow, it would be so nice to be able to have someone proactively step in to offer empathy.
Which is one reason why I teach my kids how to be sensitive to their friends…and not wait for an invitation to help out.
Good news is, the girls are learning that lesson great!
But I digress. 🙂
Today besides the usual will be the next phase of math/creative thinking for the kids, yay! HS2 has memorized the 135 6-times problems he's been working on (I really want to prepare him for mental math multiplication), and everyone else is slowly but surely coming along.
On to the 7 times tables! 🙂
And goodies like:
1. | In twenty-one years, Julia's age will be two hundred ninety less than four times the age of William. |
|
2. | Christopher is seventeen years older than Amber. |
|
3. | The sum of the ages of John and Christopher is fifty-five. |
|
4. | Julia's age is one hundred fifty-three less than three times the age of William. |
|
5. | John is nineteen years younger than Christopher. |
and
x – 2y – 9z = -11
-x + 2y – z = 21
-6x = 12

Whoever said I don't make math fun? 🙂
And over the weekend, some covert harvesting resulted in:
That, my friends, is the zucchini from heck, and wow, did it ever make bunches! 🙂
Hope y'all have a fantastic day. 🙂
